Profile Evaluation & Gap Finding
The work done until today holds a lot of value and will be utilized as a potential for the process. We will collectively work on gap finding to decide what can be done to strengthen the profile. The earlier the first session happens, the quicker a student is able to make a decision and work on the requirements, beneficial for the ones who are aiming at scholarships. Be it looking for short courses, learning new skills, publishing papers, etc.
University & courses shortlisting
Setting up targets for universities based on aspirations and realistic goals along with scholarships, future prospects, alumni networks, and much more.
Key application drivers
Looking for points of inclination and drivers that led to a strong inclination for courses. Finding the best projects, and experiences to put forward for applications individually.
Unique Abilities & Self-Analysis
Based on previous experiences finding out the key elements to be highlighted in applications based on the requirement with a thorough self-analysis using bubble diagrams.
Statement of Purpose: Ideation & Writing
Writing SOP that reflects your interest and intent for the course. This would be done after thorough brainstorming to clearly convey why what, what after and other important elements of SOP.
Portfolio Curation
Handpicking projects and curating portfolio/s that are intent-specific and reflect the thought process along with skills garnered through the years.
Resume & Profile Building
Your RESUME plays a vital role to give a quick overview of who "you" are. We brainstorm and curate a resume that highlights the depths of your past experiences.

I remember being burdened with my studio work and was wondering how I would manage my time to apply for my further education. That is exactly when I came across Make Spaces on Instagram. Before this, I had visited almost a hundred career counselling and guidance agencies, some looked dull, some very enthusiastic to have me around. But none appealed to me because most of them gave a very generic overview of the admission processes and made me understand why I should categorizing colleges as safe choices. Also neither of them specialized in understanding the requirements for a student with background in architecture and built environment.
I signed up for a brief discussion with Arnav Prakash at Make Spaces for a one hour slot and I immediately decided to ask him to mentor me. Trusting Arnav has been one of the best decisions I've ever made! As a person who is very critical of everything around me, the mentorship program at Make Spaces was exactly the place for me. All the deadlines for completion of the required documents set forth right in the initial weeks. (I didn't meet any and Arnav did not abandon me - extremely grateful for that). Every little detail of my journey was discussed over and over again to concise and refine it . I also remember Arnav asking a 100 times to convince him I wanted to do this throughout the process, and I think that reinforced my application spirit and confidence that I wont end up in a wrong place.
Make Spaces was the only place which support me and keep me confident in applying to only the top universities even though all the 10 colleges I chose and applied to were extremely ambitious. With so many advices and anticipation contributing to self doubt, Arnav made sure I was never stuck to my decision and that I put all of my thinking only towards applying and getting an admit!
Arnav has been a consistent steady support- be it early mornings, late nights, never a no for even the slightest and silliest query at the most odd time of the day! There were times when I wanted to give up and let colleges go but he made sure I missed none even though it meant hitting the upload and pay button one minute prior to the deadline ! He made sure he followed up a gazillion time to not miss out on anything. The best part is I just could be myself and enjoy the entire process even at the peak of my stress. Never had to follow any rules, follow standard boring templates to finish things up and neither make a big deal of anything.
Grateful can be very little word for what Make Spaces has offered. I strongly suggest that it branch to form Miracles at Make Spaces for everything it does to help one keep moving! Make Spaces has my highest recommendations in all true senses and is a perfect place for everyone to be themselves without any fear. There was no chance that this happened the way it is for me without the team! If I ever had to do all of this again, it definitely is here :) A hundred thank you to Arnav for agreeing to do this and being the best mentor ! Cheers to many more strides :D

Arnav's mentorship program for aspiring architecture students has been nothing short of transformative for me. My initial meeting with Arnav was a pivotal moment that set the tone for the entire mentorship journey. It was a chance for me to establish rapport, share my aspirations, and gain a clear understanding of how the mentorship would unfold. Once we had shared our aspirations, Arnav took the time to outline his approach to mentorship and how he envisioned our collaboration unfolding. He emphasized the importance of clear communication, setting realistic expectations, and maintaining a growth mind-set throughout the process. This clarity was immensely reassuring, helping us to mentally prepare for the journey ahead. This meeting wasn't just about logistics; it was about laying the groundwork for a relationship built on trust and collaboration.
From the very beginning, Arnav provided clear frameworks and systems, to streamline the application process, among which a pivotal tool was the comprehensive spreadsheet. He emphasized the importance of structure and thorough preparation. The spreadsheet was our command center, containing everything from program costs to detailed breakdowns of course offerings and requirements. It provided us with a clear roadmap, ensuring we navigated the often daunting application process with accuracy.
Yet, what truly set this program apart was its holistic approach to mentorship. Before delving into the intricacies of applications, Arnav ingeniously designed a series of preliminary assignments. These assignments weren't just about checking boxes; they were carefully crafted to provoke deep introspection and self-reflection. Through these exercises, I found myself uncovering layers of motivation and aspiration I hadn't previously explored. Arnav's insightful feedback and encouragement were instrumental in this process, guiding me towards a clearer understanding of my goals and aspirations within the field of architecture.
As the program progressed, Arnav's expertise continued to shine through. We delved into the nuances of the application process, with each component meticulously tailored to showcase our strengths and align with the unique objectives of each school. Whether it was crafting a compelling portfolio, refining my Statement of Purpose (SOP), or preparing videos, Arnav's guidance was invaluable every step of the way. He also encouraged us to ask questions and voice any concerns or uncertainties we might have. This open dialogue allowed us to address any lingering doubts and ensure that we were fully aligned in our expectations and goals for the mentorship.
What truly sets this program apart is his commitment to fostering authenticity in his mentees. Through thought-provoking discussions and personalized guidance, he encouraged me to think deeply about my long-term objectives and approach the application process in a way that felt genuine to me. Thanks to Arnav's mentorship, I not only gained admission to the architecture program of my choice but also developed a newfound confidence in navigating my academic and professional journey.
